Final project 2 of 2.

An image was taken thanks to my brother for being the model. Then was edited in photo shop using several techniques and secrets to get the shadows and highlights.

When the image was done it was printed out on acetate film, placed on a projector, then traced onto pasteboard (cardboard) and then the stencil was cut out using all the shadows.

A list of a number of graffiti artists was gathered and then written in alphabetical order to form the base of the image. Was all hand written in graffiti style font.

Text in art.

Text is every where! Any were you look you are bound to come across some form of text from advertising to graffiti tags and art works. I have been painting for a few years now and my work is heavily inspired by street art and the Hip Hop graffiti art scene. I feel that the use of text in art is more engaging and interactive to the viewer. With most of my works you will find some sort of text hidden in the piece.

Stick sculptures.

Our sculpture was to do with DNA. It was designed to look as if the DNA strand was reforming out of the brocken and single sticks. Representing the way that we have evolved over millions of years to where we are today as the human race.
